Koenigsegg The Gemera 4-Seater Mega-GT

Koenigsegg is best known for two-seater super fast, exotic cars surprises the world with The Gemera, a 4-seater “Mega-GT.” Packing a ludicrous combine electric and I.C. power of 1,700 horsepower and even more ludicrous torque of 3600 Nm (2,655.22 lb-ft), The Gemera rockets to 0-62 (0-100 kph) in mere 1.9 seconds and has a top speed of no less than 250 mph.

And need me remind you that it can do that with you and three other friends onboard. Absolutely bonkers. If 3,500 Nm is not enough to impressed you (what are you??!!), then wait till you hear how much wheel torque this beast has. Its a mind-bending 11,000 Nm (8,113.18 lb-ft!!!).

So how did it achieved those unworldly numbers? Well, it is powered by a 600 HP “Tiny Friendly Giant” or TFG twin-turbo 3-cylinder engine that offers 600 Nm (442.54 lb-ft), plus three electric motors: one for each rear wheel with 500 horses and 1,000 Nm (737.56 lb-ft) and one on the crankshaft with 400 ponies and 500 Nm (368.78 lb-ft) that works in conjunction with the ICE.

A hypercar that is a tad gentle on the environment and does 950 km (590 miles) on ICE, up to 50 km (31 miles) on electric-only, or a total range of up to 1,000 km (621 miles), and seats four? What’s not to love? Absolutely nothing (not to love).

Speaking of “seats four,” it has a so-called “Koenigsegg Automated Twisted Synchrohelix Actuation Doors” that are usually elongated to facilitate easy ingress and egress of the back occupants. So, make sure the parking garage you are going to has the height for it cos’ you don’t want to be scuffing the ends of this crazy name doors of this what will be a hyper pricing hypercar.

To be fair, we do not know the price, but it is safe to assume it is not within the reach of many. Plus, Koenigsegg will only make just 300 units. So, go figure.

In case you are not into crazy power and fast Koenigsegg, the automaker has also revealed a new Jesko, the Jesko Absolut, aka the fastest Koenigsegg ever and forever. There’s not going to be another Koenigsegg that is this fast, said Koenigsegg.

You can watch the Jesko Absolut reveal video, recorded at Geneva Motor Show below. Yes. Geneva International Motor Show is cancelled, but the Swedish marque is determined to get on with the show. So, they were pretty much there on their own, recording a video reveal on site.
