Would you pay top dollars for a superlative Lamborghini car and not able to drive it home? Well, such is exactly what the Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is about. It is a limited edition track-only hypercar that is said to be the “direct descendant” of iconic Lamborghini cars like Miura Jota and Diablo GTR.

Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is not road legal and hence, the Italian supercar maker is offering to store it in a new, purpose-built personalized garage in Sant’Agata Bolognese. The garage offers dedicated services, including webcams so you cam admire your car-away-from-home whenever, wherever you want via a mobile app.

On top of that, customers will be inducted into an exclusive club with access to special programs starting from 2021. The program will allow customers to drive the hypercar on the most prestigious circuits in the world and includes storage service in a new hangar built in Sant’Agata Bolognese for the Essence SCV12 club.

As for the car itself, it is as exotic – in the looks and in the performance department – as it can gets. The vehicle packs engineering solutions derived from racing. In other words, it is a race car everyday rich folks can buy.

Lamborghini Essenza SCV12 is outfitted with the most powerful V12 from the Raging Bull marque with over 830 horses on the tap, “with a significant power uplift attributed by RAM effect at high speeds.”

A new X-trac sequential six-speed gearbox, which is part of the structural element within the chassis, puts those power to good use at the rear wheels. Speaking of gearbox and wheels… it boasts push-rod rear suspension that is installed directly on the gearbox and this beautiful beast rides on magnesium wheels (19” front and 20” rear) wrapped in slick Pirelli tires.

Other notables include brake discs and calipers developed by Brembo Motorsport, multi-function steering wheel inspired by F1 single-seater steering wheels, Capristo-designed exhaust pipes, and a new-generation carbon fiber monocoque chassis without internal roll cage. The latter affords this hypercar a remarkable power-to-weight ratio of 1.66 kg/hp (3.66 lbs/hp).
