LEGO’s latest Christmas set, LEGO 10293 Santa’s Visit, is recommended for ages 18 and up. Why? I have absolutely no idea. I never really noticed this until today and so, I checked back and realized, the recent past festive sets were, too, targeted at grown-ups.
How strange. Perhaps, 18+ allows for a bigger price tag? Perhaps. Anyhoo, the LEGO 10293 Santa’s Visit Set is the latest to join the Winter Village collection and oh boy, it is indeed a charming little set and the perfect companion to the LEGO 10267 Gingerbread House and LEGO 10275 Elf’s Cub House.
As the product name suggests, this set lets you play out Santa’s visit to a family of three. That said it does include four minifigures which include daddy, mommy, a little girl, and of course, the festive man of mystery himself, Santa Claus.
In addition to an appropriately decorated, cozy home, the set features a large chimney for Santa to drop into the fireplace and into the living where a plate of cookies with milk awaits. You know, no wise man can resist a good bribe consisting of milk and cookies! Or does Santa prefer Jack Daniel’s or perhaps Jim Beam? I guess we will never know…
Anyways, another highlight is the light brick element that enables the Christmas to light up when the top is pressed.
When completed, the 1,445-piece adult collectibles measure over 7.5 inches tall, 10.5 inches wide, and 6.5 inches deep (19 x 27 x 16 cm). The LEGO 10293 Santa’s Visit will arrive on October 1st, 2021, for US$99.99.
