It has been a while since we got excited over a Mercedes-Benz Zetros. We finally got excited again today. In fact, we are even more excited because it is a Zetros most people can realistically own.
Folks, meet the LEGO 42129 Technic 4×4 Mercedes-Benz Zetros Trial Truck. It is the toy truck building set we have been wishing to see LEGO produces since we laid eyes on the LEGO MOC MB Zetros
There is a lot to be excited about. Not only it is an accurate and detailed representation of the real deal, making it a sight to behold as a display piece, but it is also very capable and powerful because this 2,110-piece set is a remote control toy too.
Thanks to the powerful motor and differential locking – the first for a Technic set, activated using the app, this little guy is able to scale impossibly steep inclination.
The truck is powered by 3 large motors and a medium motor and features a Bluetooth-controlled smart hub for wireless control.
Other highlights include opening cab doors and hood, working suspension on all 4 wheels, opening service hatch to access the gearbox, detailed engine with spinning radiator fan, race-themed stickers, and a pair of fire extinguishers.
When completed, the model measures 21 cm tall, 48 cm long, and 19 cm wide (over 8 inches by 19 inches by 7 inches).
