So many heroes and villains have had worn an armored suit. Even Frank Castle, aka Punisher, and Norman Osborn have worn one and on screen, there were even more, including Bruce Banner. But never Captain America. Why? Well, he doesn’t really need one.

However, it will be cool if he had a suit like, you know, Hulkbuster. And a suit like Hulkbuster he has now with the LEGO 76168 Captain America Mech Armor. As the product name implies, the LEGO 76168 Captain America Mech Armor is Cap with his very own mecha – complete in his signature colors.

The set is a super tiny one (it has just 121 pieces), but it is no less impressive. The mecha features a cockpit for Captain America minifigure to pilot the machine and it has movable germs and legs, and a huge-ass shield.

A smaller shield, which can be attached to the mech’s leg when not in use, is also provided for the minifigure Cap when he is out of his fighting machine. The giant shield can also be plugged to the back of mech too.

The LEGO 76168 Captain America Mech Armor is designed for kids age 7 and up, but I think it will be make for a nice display piece for any Marvel fan.

When completed it stands over 4 inches (12 cm) tall. Cute. The LEGO 76168 Captain America Mech Armor is available now for US$9.99 a pop.
