LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Game

Fans of Star Wars got to live the dream with LEGO Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, playing through all nine films in one brick-filled binge. Now, it is Batman fans’ turn. And as a fan of both the Dark Knight and video games, I can hardly contain my excitement.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight Game

Warner Bros. Games, TT Games, DC, and the LEGO Group have teamed up for LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight, which promises to be the definitive LEGO Batman video game. This one spans the full story of Batman, from his earliest days as young Bruce Wayne to iconic moments across film (including 2022’s Batman), television, comics, and even past games. Yes, all of that in one massive LEGO adventure.

The game features a story-driven campaign where Batman teams up with allies like Jim Gordon, Robin, Nightwing, Batgirl, and Catwoman to face Gotham’s infamous Rogues Gallery. Everyone from Joker to Bane shows up, and each ally carries their own signature gadgets to mix up combat. Speaking of combat, TT Games has rebuilt the system to reflect Batman’s unique fighting style, with fluid chains, counters, and the kind of over-the-top takedowns you expect when bricks go flying.

All of this takes place in a sprawling open-world LEGO Gotham City where you can grapple across rooftops, glide over streets, or cruise around in Batmobiles and Batcycles. The Batcave doubles as a hub you can customize with suits, trophies, and vehicles.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight arrives in 2026 on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC. Wishlisting begins today.

P.S. Players can unlock the Golden Age Batsuit inspired by Detective Comics #27
