LEGO Building Instructions Collection at the Internet Archive

I have a collection of LEGO sets and I have their instructions stashed in the original boxes and stored neatly in my storage room. But not everyone does the same. Some may disassemble certain sets and when they decided to build it again years later, the instructions are nowhere to be found. Enter LEGO Building Instructions Collection at the Internet Archive.

Whether you have lost the instructions for some of your LEGO sets or perhaps you have the desire to build an out-of-production set that you never had, this wonderful place on the Internet offers digitized instructions for over 6,800 LEGO sets.

6,800 is, of course, pale in comparison to the entire LEGO catalog. Still, it does have instructions for many popular sets, including LEGO Tatooine Homestead (40451) which was a gift with purchase for Star Wars Day in 2021. You will also find out-of-production sets like the LEGO Shuttle Adventure (10213) from 2010, LEGO AT-AT (4483) from 2003, LEGO Technic Mercedes-Benz Unimog U 400 (8110) from 2011, and a host of Bionicle sets – to pick out a few.

It is a wonderful place on the Internet. A place that I see as the opportunity for another chance to build and own sets that you may have missed. The only limitation is you may find it hard to find some parts for some sets which contain unique molded-for-the-set parts.
