LEGO Freddie Mercury Sculpture by Ochre Jelly

Ochre Jelly’s submission to LEGO Ideas of Freddie Mercury may be a simple one, but somehow it managed to bring out the spirit of the flamboyant front man of British rock band, Queen. We certainly hope it get enough support to be considered as an official set.

Ochre Jelly aka Iain Heath, who is the same person behind the awesome Leia The Huttslayer LEGO Sculpture, thought that this would be a good time since November 2021 will mark 30 years since the Mercury’s passing.

Jelly has chosen Freddie in the now iconic yellow jacket and white pants outfit which the late rock star wore during the televised Queen at Wembley Stadium concert in 1986. The set also include the mic stand Freddie was known to use in the many performances.

Like I have said, it is simple and stunning, and somehow, for some reasons, the spirit has been accurately captured despite the lack of resembling facial features.

If you like what Ochre Jelly has done, do considering giving your one precious support for his LEGO Freddie Mercury Sculpture on LEGO Ideas.
