Originally created by Australian LEGO MOC talent Brent Waller for the 80s sitcom’s 30th anniversary as an LEGO Ideas submission in 2019, the LEGO Ideas Seinfeld 30th Anniversary Set was green lit a year ago and it is now finally an official set money can buy.
Obviously, it is 2 years past Seinfeld’s 30th anniversary, and so the set won’t be referred as “30th anniversary set”. Instead, it is just LEGO Ideas 21328 Seinfeld. Hey, that’s fine by me because, it is still the perfect homage to the Show About Nothing!
Key features of this official set include Jerry Seinfeld’s apartment, a buildable stage for the standup comic and a Festivus pole. So, yeah, you can totally play out the Story of Festivus! Because, why not?
As far as Seinfeld’s apartment, it has the works, including the kitchen with buildable counter, fridge, microwave, oven, and more; the living room with a sofa; and tables an office.
The set comes with 5 minifigures, including Jerry Seinfeld, George Costanza, Cosmo Kramer, Elaine Benes, and Seinfeld’s archenemy, the postal worker, known just by the name Newman.
If you ask me, I’d say the LEGO Ideas 21328 Seinfeld is a must-have for anyone who have fond memories of the 90s, or just anyone want a piece of the 90s – along with the couple F.R.I.E.N.D.S. sets (ya’ know, the apartment and Central Perks).
LEGO Ideas 21328 Seinfeld will be available starting August 1, 2021, priced at US$79.99. LEGO VIP members will be able to get their hands on the set starting July 21. Recommended for ages 18 and up.
