Thanks to LEGO Ideas’ The Parking Lot started last year, the proposed LEGO Ideas Tintin – Space Rocket by Alexis Dos Santos a.k.a. Tkel86, which had already reached 10,000 votes, was given more time to be reviewed by the Danish toy company and eventually inducted as an official set.

Fast forward to today, and the LEGO Ideas Tintin Moon Rocket (21367) has been officially announced.
Packing a cool 1,283 pieces, this Adult Fans of LEGO (AFOLs) set features the instantly recognizable red-and-white chequered Moon Rocket as seen in the classic comic books Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon.
This comic-accurate rocket towers at a grand 49 cm tall, and it is primarily a build-and-display set. There is a removable panel on the rocket’s cone that reveals a detailed and oh-so-retro control room inside.
The space can fit one of the included characters to recreate the magical moment when Tintin’s crew saw the Earth for the first time from space.
The set includes six classic Tintin characters: Tintin, Captain Haddock, Professor Calculus, and Thomson and Thompson, all garbed in detailed space suits with helmets and oxygen tank accessories.
And there is, of course, Snowy, Tintin’s loyal companion, and the comic dog that single-pawedly made the Wire Fox Terrier a dream pet for many readers. Wait, no? Just me who feels that way? Never mind.
Tintin and Captain Haddock also each come with radio accessories.
When completed, the model rocket measures 49 cm high, 20 cm long, and 23 cm wide (about 19.5 × 8 × 9 inches).
The LEGO Ideas Tintin Moon Rocket (21367) is available for pre-order on LEGO.com for US$159.99, with shipping starting April 01, 2026.
For the uninitiated, The Parking Lot was introduced by LEGO Ideas to manage product ideas that required additional time for review. This allows for a limited selection of projects to be “on hold”, thereby giving strong ideas that may not get approved due to timing issues.
