Remember the touchscreen turntable from Samsung showcased at CES 2026 last month? Well, it is not the first “touchscreen turntable.” Technically, this LEGO MOC is the first. Yes, it is a LEGO MOC, and apparently, it is a “touchscreen turntable,” and then some.

Built by Korea-based LEGO Certified Professional SeungYoo Kim, a.k.a. Vant (it’s “Vant” stylized with a period), this LEGO MOC project titled LEGO Analog Rebuilt in Digital is a portable radio and turntable that does not have a screen built into it, nor does it have a traditional platter-on-plinth setup. In fact, it is more.
It apparently has a functional radio built in, complete with working knobs for tuning the frequency, and when opened up, instead of a platter, there is a placeholder or dock for a Samsung Galaxy Z Fold7 with wireless charging functionality. When an open Galaxy Z Fold7 is placed on the dock, it triggers a turntable app with a rotating vinyl. This also initiates wireless charging. When the LEGO tonearm is rotated over onto the virtual vinyl, music starts to play.
Vant has thrown in a sill on the inside of the cover where you can display a printed album cover as you enjoy the music. The device is completed with a pivoting carrying handle.
Now, here’s the thing. We do not doubt the authenticity of the build. After all, it is from a real LEGO Certified Professional. However, we are not sure if the functions like the radio, charger, and turntable actually work, or if they are just movie magic used to showcase the build’s features. The charging feature is totally doable without any additional work, but the turntable part of the equation would require some tinkering with app development. Please correct me if I am wrong.
Anyhoo, it is an interesting concept, one that LEGO may want to take note of as the toymaker continues to blur the line between digital and physical play. Perhaps the Danish toymaker could even partner with Samsung for something like this. Anyhoo, you can check out the video of this beautiful LEGO MOC HERE.
