LEGO The Majestic Horse Prank April Fools

I think LEGO may have pulled off one of the best April Fools’ Day pranks yet. However, this April Fools’ Day joke by the Danish toymaker is literally not for everyone.

LEGO has created a handful of the LEGO The Majestic Horse set and sent them out to “LEGO fans”. If you didn’t receive it, well then, you are not a LEGO fan.

Anyhoo, when these “LEGO fans” received the set and proceed to build it, something peculiar starts to unfold. The head of the LEGO animal appears to be deliberately left to the last stage of the build and when it was built, it wasn’t a horse as the box art depicted; it turns out to be the head of a, ermmm, a Corgi dog?

Actually, as morbid as it may look in its final form, The Majestic Corgi Horse hybrid actually looks pretty cool. And oh, it had sneakers on and include, I believe, some dog poop?

Anywho, both of those aren’t supposed to be there either – at least not according to the deceptive box art. LoL!

Nice one, LEGO. Nice one. IMHO, though, next time, maybe not say that you have sent the sets to LEGO fans. Just saying you have sent a new mystery set to be reviewed by LEGO toy reviewers will be more appropriate because we are fans too and we did get a set.
