Petrolheads, especially supercar owners, would instantly recognize Liberty Walk. No, it’s not a location in GTA though it does sound like one. LW is the go-to name for designing and manufacturing wide-body kits for supercars. If you’re familiar with LW, you’d know they’re no strangers to merch. But a mechanical keyboard? Well, this gotta be the first.
Billed as the “world’s first JDM mechanical keyboard,” this sleek piece of tech is born from a collaboration between Liberty Walk and original konbini. While the internals of this keyboard remain unclear, the exterior is front and center.
It rocks LW’s signature black-and-white aesthetic, punctuated by an orange-red car plate keycap, a black Liberty Walk keycap, a black spacebar emblazoned with “SLAMMED,” and a RETURN key featuring LW’s iconic rising sun logo. Minimalist, yet it screams JDM car mod culture from every angle. Unfortunately, no wide-body kit for the keyboard itself.
The keyboard doesn’t roll solo. It’s accompanied by a matching desk pad. Buyers can snag them individually or as a bundle, depending on how much they want to immerse themselves in this niche gear. As for compatibility, it’s unclear whether it’ll play nicely with Mac, Android, or iOS, but one thing’s certain: this is a collector’s item for Liberty Walk fans.
The Liberty Walk x original konbini x Dream Customs Keyboard and Deskpad are limited edition drops, launching December 31, 2024.
