Leica M-A “Titan" Camera

Recently, we noted how the film has become more and more expensive, and it may be a good idea to go with the Kodak Ektar H35 half-frame camera cos it saves, well, film. I guess film prices are not of concern if you are looking at the Limited-edition Leica M-A “Titan” Set.

Limited-edition Leica M-A “Titan" Camera

Limited to just 250 units worldwide, the Leica M-A “Titan” marks the 6th time Leica has released a limited edition with a titanium exterior. The set combines the timeless appeal of the analog Leica M-A with the classic design of the APO-Summicron-M 50 f/2 ASPH whose appearance is modeled after the very first Summicron-M with a 50 mm focal length introduced in 1956.

The main components of the camera and the lens are milled from solid titanium alloy, imbuing the camera and the lens with even greater solidity and the sleek aesthetic unique to titanium.

Rounding up the retro-licious design of this very special edition analog snapper is the classic ‘Ernst Leitz Wetzlar’ script on the top plate and both the camera and the lens are engraved with their respective special-edition serial numbers.

The Limited-edition Leica M-A “Titan” Set comes in a special presentation box with an inner lining of black silk. It is available now at specialist retailers, commanding a princely sum of US$19,995.
