Louis Vuitton Tambour Diving II Chronograph | £6,200.00 | www.louisvuitton.com
until the day big name designer labels like Louis Vuitton began turning out neoprene dive suits or dive goggles for your underwater style dive, uber brand-conscious, deep sea adventure seekers would have to content with the Louis Vuitton Tambour Diving II Chronograph, which in our humble opinion, is more than suffice but a monogram dive suit wouldn’t hurt too. granted that LV is not the usual brand for serious dive gears but think about this: you don’t backpack your breathing apparatus around in your tuxe do you? well, you get the idea. new to the LV time piece collection, the Tambour Diving II Chronograph is the first diving chronograph from the Parisian fashion house and it is not just beauty without the brawl. this drool-worthy dive watch features a 45.5mm solid rubber-overmolded steel case matched with a ceramic uni-directional bezel, along with large, legible luminescent numerals. other highlights include anti-reflective sapphire glass, a black rubber with LV’s signature wrist strap, screw-in crown, water resistance to 300 meters (984 feet), data function with magnifying glass, 30-minute chrono counter at 12 o’clock position and a 60 second chrono hand backgrounded by a very appropriate ‘divers flag’ adorned the predominantly black dial face. the Louis Vuitton Tambour Diving II Chronograph is available at LC flagship stores with a heft price tag of £6,200 (roughly US$9,900).
