If you’re a fan of the Hulk from the comic books, you’re going to dig this. Hasbro has just introduced a new Hulk figure that’ll make fans go absolutely ga-ga. Folks, meet the Marvel Legends Maximum Series Hulk Figure. It’s a 6-inch scale figure—which means it towers over other Marvel Legends figures. In fact, it towers at an impressive 8.5 inches (21.5 cm) tall.
But height isn’t the only thing this guy has going for him. Being part of Hasbro’s Marvel Maximum Series, this Hulk is inspired by his classic comic book look and comes with some seriously incredible poseability. We’re talking toon-accurate colors, a whopping 30 points of articulation, and a fully poseable head, arms, legs, and feet. The soft-skin upper torso cover even allows broad shoulder movement—so yes, you can finally make him do his signature Thunderclap.
And to really sell the smashing, the figure includes the accessories to show off just how hard he’s clapping or punching. This is where the Maximum Series shines: a boatload of Marvel comics-inspired accessories that complement the poseability and bring this figure to life. You can recreate comic book scenes down to the different looks—thanks to the two alternate heads. Other goodies include four alternate hands, three thunderclap effects, and even a missile for Hulk to catch and rip apart.
That’s right, fellow Hulk fans: if you’ve ever dreamed of owning a figure of Hulk hurling a missile back at whoever dared fire it, or even breaking it into two to show who’s the boss, now’s your chance.
For collectors who can’t bring themselves to break the big green guy out of his cardboard-and-plastic prison, the open-box packaging offers a decent compromise—you still get to admire him and the accessories. But really, where’s the fun in buying an action figure if you’re not going to pose it and snap some Instagram-worthy photos?
