Folks, this is the Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport True Wireless Earphones. It is essentially the MW08, but tweaked for active lifestyle use. Tweaks include shatter-resistant sapphire glass body with metallic finish (ooh la la!), a Kevlar fiber case (sweet!), and 3 sizes of foam ear tips for custom fit – in addition to 5 sizes of silicone fit tips.
This pair of TWS earbuds further touts proprietary machined aluminum nano-bonded external antenna, along with Qualcomm TrueWireless Mirroring.
The rest of features are pretty much what you find on the non-sport version. These features include two ambient listening modes, 11 mm Beryllium drivers, Qualcomm Hybrid Active Noise Cancellation, up to 12 hours of playtime and an additional 30 hours with the wireless charging case, Bluetooth 5.2 with AAC and SBC, Qualcomm aptX Adaptive audio technology, and a six-microphone setup with proprietary noise and wind reduction for crystal clear calls.
Also launched with the MW08 Sport is the MC100 wireless charging pad. Crafted from crafted from coated canvas and features a cast aluminum base for quick heat dissipation, the MC100 offers up to 10 watts of power to compatible devices.
The charging case of the MW08 Sport can take advantage of the fast wireless charging to recharge or via the good’ol USB-C cable.
The Master & Dynamic MW08 Sport True Wireless Earphones is available now for US$349 (which is 50 bucks more over the non-sport) while the MC100 is available separately for US$69.
