Master & Dynamic MW65 Wireless Headphones

If you haven’t already heard, New York-based premium audio hardware maker Master & Dynamic has launched a new active noise canceling wireless headphones called MW65 and boy, does it has a rather odd design and yet, looking pretty dope. It does have the retro vibe to it. When most headphone makers would opt for the conventional or square approach, MW65 adopts a longish, round form (and that’s the weird part, btw).

Key features include two active noise cancelling modes, dual microphones (to filter out external noise for clear phone calls which it can also do), up to 24 hours of battery life, USB-C fast charging that provides 12 hours of use with 15 minutes charge, premium materials (y’know, anodized aluminum and fine leathers), Bluetooth 4.2 that has a range of 20 meters (65 feet), 40 mm Beryllium drivers, and support for Google Assistant.

Each pair comes with a cable with 3.5 mm audio jack and flight adapter for jet setters. In case you are wondering what the two ANC modes are, they are the high power ANC for dealing with noises on city streets, airplanes, and basically “very noisy environments” and the lower power ANC to cancel lower noise such as in windy environments. You can use with the ANC off too and it is done when wireless feature is disabled by plugging in the 3.5 mm cable.
