Whether you have a passion for cosplaying as characters from Masters of the Universe or you’re feeling nostalgic about the latex MOTU masks from the 80s, NECA has got you covered with the Masters of the Universe Latex Masks. These masks are undoubtedly much more appealing (read: way less creepy) than their 80s counterparts.
The new “powerfully cool” Masters of the Universe sculpted latex masks from NECA are full-head pullover masks inspired by the classic 80s toy designs, and they are entirely wearable (obviously). They come in one-size-fits-most, according to NECA. Unfortunately, for all you good guys out there, the current collection of sculpted latex masks is all based on the bad guys. The lineup includes Skeletor, Beast Man, Mer-Man, and Trap Jaw. Skeletor and Beast Man are available for purchase at US$49.99 each.
As for Mer-Man and Trap Jaw latex masks, you can pre-order them starting now until October 17, 2023, at 11:59 PM ET, also for US$49.99 each. However, if you plan to wear Mer-Man or Trap Jaw for your Halloween costume, well, then you will be disappointed because these two masks will not ship until February 2024.
Before you proceed with your order, here’s a note from NECA: It’s recommended that you place separate orders for pre-order items and in-stock items because orders will not ship until ALL items in the order arrive. So, if you want all four masks, it’s best to order Skeletor and Beast Man separately from Mer-Man and Trap Jaw. Each mask is a limited edition item made from kaolin clay and latex, handcrafted from sculpture to finish in North America, and individually painted.
