Never mind that you are not invited to King Charles III’s Coronation or get to buy one of its awesome souvenirs because Mattel has created a stunning Gold State Coach to honor the event.
Mind you, the Matchbox Collectors Coronation Gold State Coach die-cast collectible is not just a die-cast carriage body in an eye-catching matte gold finish and matching matte gold wheels; it comes complete with the entire entourage, namely the horses and riders.
It has everything including the fixed figurines of the King and the Queen Consort inside the carriage. Strangely, though, the fixed figurines are in gold finish.
The carriage features real working wheels and an articulated front axle. The horses and the metal chain harnesses can be removed and separated from the coach.
The Gold State Coach is, of course, the quintessential piece of British royal history that has been used since 1821.
