Frankly, I am fed up with this Mattel Brick Shop culture. You cannot even wait one day to talk about it because some products are already sold out by then. The first time was excusable. They did not know better. The same thing happened with the Honda Civic, and now it is happening again with the Mattel Brick Shop Hot Wheels 2024 Aston Martin Vantage GT3.

I know, you can probably still find it from other retailers, but I just do not like this constant sold-out situation. LEGO does not have this issue. At least not this quick. To be honest, if this is how things are going to be, I will probably just pass on everything that comes out from this new brand. I am sure I am not the only one.
Anyhoo, for those who need to know, yes, it is sold out. But in case you need to know more, the 2024 Aston Martin Vantage GT3 has been immortalized in bricks. Well, sort of. Mattel Brick Shop straddles the line between model kit and building set, which is a whole different realm compared to CaDA and LEGO.
Presented in its iconic green, this 1:16-scale version of the king of top-flight GT racing features a working steering wheel and doors, a customizable spoiler, and a removable front splitter. As with other sets in this line, it also comes with a 1:64 die-cast version, plus a bit of exclusivity in the form of a real-metal signature plate.
Part of the Elite Series, the set also includes a custom decal sheet and two sets of wheel covers, letting you live out your dream of customizing an Aston Martin Vantage GT3. Never mind that you cannot afford one in real life.
This thing, if you can find it in the wild, goes for about US$54, which is a fraction of the real deal. It looks great, but I am still flabbergasted by the stock management. I know some of you are going to say, “Chill, it’s going to come back.” Well, look at the NSX. Did it ever get a restock? It never did, even to this day. Granted, you can still find the Mattel Brick Shop Hot Wheels Honda NSX elsewhere. But that is not the point.
