I have no hate for BE@RBRICK but perhaps not everything should be massaged into the iconic silhouette of the face-less bear doll. One of the characters that should not be BE@RBRICK-rized would be the famed extraterrestrial from 1982’s E.T. But here it is the BE@RBRICK E.T. 100% & 400% Set.
It is strange to see that E.T. has proper-length legs. Other than that, I supposed it looks alright. To recreate the iconic double head of E.T., most of the upper part of the head was left clear. It is odd but it has always been this way.
Anyhoo, the BE@RBRICK E.T. 100% & 400% Set is expected to be available to ship in late September 2024. It is available for pre-order now for 15,000 yen plus tax (16,500 yen tax included), which works out to be about 102 USD (or 112 USD). Folks outside of Japan who are interested may pre-order it from your favorite online retailers, or you can order it from M@T Tokyo.
