traditionally, a coupe is defined by a two-door automobile with seating for two and occasionally, a tight fitting rear seat. however, that definition is set to change by the Mercedes Concept Style Coupe. despite sporting a four-door configuration, this concept vehicle’s clever interplay of concave and convex surfaces, and sweeping design bestow it with a coupe flair, hence the classification ‘coupe’. equipped with a new 2.0-liter, four-cylinder turbocharged petrol unit that puts out 211 hp (155 kW) and mated to a 7G-DCT dual clutch automatic transmission that sends the power to all four wheels via Mercedes’ all-wheel drive system 4MATIC. the Concept Style Coupe features a striking headlamp design with innovative indicators, a diamond-look grille (first seen on the Concept A-Class) and a color scheme known as Alubeam that further emphasize the sculptured lines on its body. other highlights include large turbine design 20-inch rolling stocks, large panoramic roof for a brighter and airy interior, integrated dual-flow exhaust system, and a high-grade sporty interior accented with eye-popping neon green piping and topstitching. this beautiful concept will make its official world premier at Auto China in Beijing from April 23 to May 2, 2012. we can’t stop ourselves from ogling over the images of this gorgeous example and we want to share with you after the break.
