Enter the Mijia Tri-Zone Washing Machine Pro, a front-load washer that not only handles 10 kilograms of laundry but also gives your delicates their very own tiny drums.
The main 10 kg drum handles the bulk stuff, while the two smaller zones are reserved for the delicate and the unmentionables. One tiny drum can take a bra, or five pairs of underwear, or five pairs of socks. Each small drum even has specialized wash programs to target bloodstains, sweat stains, and all the microscopic nightmares your detergent commercial warns you about.
Xiaomi has gone all out to prevent cross-contamination. Not only does the new Tri-zone Washer [CH] let you wash your socks and underwear separately from the main laundry, but each mini washer has its own dedicated water line to prevent cross-contamination. Now, that is dedication!
This is Xiaomi’s most health-conscious flagship washer yet. It uses diamond electrode electrolysis tech that generates active oxygen for cleaning, killing germs, mites, and viruses with zero residue. It also reduces color bleeding without needing bleach. Add to that a smart three-way auto detergent dispenser that lasts up to a month, programmable scheduling, pause-and-add functionality, and HyperOS Connect smart control.
Each drum and even the detergent compartments are individually lit on the inside, so you can literally watch your socks spin in style. The whole thing is built with an all-metal construction. The main drum has a clear glass window, while the small drums use plastic (or acrylic) windows with a frosted section that doubles as the handle.
In addition to the independent suspension to keep everything running smoothly, without threatening to “walk” away and making a ding, the washer further features Xiaomi’s smart anti-vibration system that uses a 3G algorithm to detect spin status in real time, fine-tune the spin cycle, and keep noise and shaking to a minimum. That means faster, steadier drying and a machine that pairs well with a dryer without sounding like a rocket launch.
The Mijia Tri-Zone Washing Machine Pro has launched in China with an introductory price of 3,999 yuan [CH] (about US$550).
