Motorola razr with Crystals by Swarovski
Motorola has returned to the Swarovski drawer, dressing its 2026 Razr in a dark Pantone Meteorite finish, 35 hand-positioned crystals, and a larger 32-facet crystal on the hinge. Beneath all that sparkle is a proper foldable smartphone with dual 50MP cameras, two displays, and over 36 hours of claimed battery life.

Love luxe gadgets but would rather not entrust your daily mobile life to a dedicated luxury-phone brand like Vertu? Motorola has a more familiar proposition. Having already given us the Brilliant Collection and the crystal-embellished Edge 70 Cloud Dancer, it has opened the Swarovski drawer again. Folks, meet the 2026 Motorola Razr with Crystals by Swarovski, the flip phone for anyone who considers plain glass painfully underdressed.

Unlike last year’s bright Pantone Ice Melt model, the new Razr wears a much darker Pantone Meteorite finish. Its quilted, leather-inspired surface is decorated with 35 hand-positioned Swarovski Crystals in Silver Night. Motorola has also placed a larger 32-facet Swarovski Crystal on the hinge, ensuring that every flip catches the light and possibly the attention of everyone within a three-table radius.

The dark finish gives the crystals plenty of contrast without making the phone resemble something retrieved from a craft box. It is still extravagant, of course, but the black-on-silver treatment appears more evening wear than disco ball. A clear protective case is included in select regions, because dropping a folding phone is stressful enough without having to count whether all 35 crystals survived.

Beneath the glitter is the regular 2026 Motorola Razr. It has a 3.6-inch external display capable of running full apps and handling messages, plus a 6.9-inch Extreme AMOLED display inside. The rear camera system features two 50-megapixel sensors, while a 4,800mAh battery promises more than 36 hours of use. Advanced AI features are present, too, although none can explain why your phone is now better accessorized than you are.

The Motorola Razr with Crystals by Swarovski joins the Brilliant Collection rather than replacing last year’s sparkly model. The crystal count remains at 35, but the hinge crystal has gained six more facets. Progress comes in many forms.

The crystal-covered Razr goes on sale September 10 through Motorola and Amazon for US$899.99, with Verizon availability following on September 24. That is US$100 more than the standard Razr, which works out to under three dollars per additional crystal. Luxury mathematics says that is practically sensible.
