Mouse with Undo Button by Elodie Delassus

This is a concept mouse by product designer Elodie Delassus. As you probably already tell, this ain’t your regular mouse. It does not have a scroll wheel. In place of the scroll wheel, it has an Undo button, aptly named ‘OOPS’. Because, ‘oops’ is when we made a mistake.

Considering how often Control+Z is used, Delassus’ proposition isn’t ridiculous at all. In fact, it should be standard across all mouse. As for the design, the designer apparently took inspiration from a VR controller.

The mouse is clean and minimal. It does not have obvious button separation. Only a dividing gap offers a telltale sign of the existence of a two-button mouse. Towards the rear is an LED indicator, presumably for the battery status.

We love how it has a spillover for the thumb to rest on. It does look like a pretty ergonomic mouse. But the highlight here is, of course, the OOPS button. And oh, the mouse is also appropriately called OOPS. Seriously, this should be a real product. Like, very seriously, should.
