MSI Claw A1M Gaming Handheld

MSI, known for being all fancy-schmancy with their premium laptops, has decided not to be outdone by fellow gaming laptop makers like ASUS, Alienware, and Lenovo. It is shaking things up with a gaming handheld that’s all about luxury, extreme performance, and, you guessed it, cutting-edge tech. Enter the star of the show: the Claw (not to be confused with Toy Story’s The Claw).

This little gadget is not just any handheld gaming that is all the rage now; it is the world’s first gaming handheld powered by an Intel Core Ultra Processor. Think smooth gameplay with fancy ARC graphics and up to 8 Xe cores, plus some neat XeSS technology.

The Claw is not just a pretty face. OK, its aesthetic is debatable but that’s not the focus here; the focus here is it has got a cool HyperFlow cooling system and a beefy 53Wh battery. It even has Thunderbolt 4 connectivity. MSI’s big cheese, Eric Kuo, is super psyched about this, saying they’ve really focused on making this handheld a game-changer for gamers.

Then, there’s Michelle Johnston Holthaus from Intel, chiming in with how thrilled they are to partner with MSI on this. She’s all about delivering top-notch experiences with this new handheld.

Now, as for the techy stuff, the Core Ultra is a big deal with its new silicon architecture and AI capabilities. The ARCTM integrated graphics are a step up, offering double the graphical performance of older models. And let’s not forget the XeSS super-sampling technology, ensuring smooth gameplay at decent settings.

The Claw itself is a breakthrough in handheld gaming. Thanks to the Intel Core Ultra processors and XeSS tech, you get better FPS and immersive gameplay. It’s got this nifty Cooler Boost Hyperflow technology to keep things chill, and the 53Whr battery lets you game for hours. Plus, the MSI Center M UI and MSI APP Player mean you’ve got a ton of games at your fingertips.

To top it all off, the Claw is ergonomically designed to fit all hand sizes and has a 7-inch Full HD touchscreen display with a 120 Hz refresh rate. In short, MSI’s Claw is here to give ASUS, Lenovo, and Steam Deck a run for their money. Product specs can be found after the break.
