Usually gaming rig is defined by the color black, but if black is not your cuppa and you need a powerful off-the-shelf rig, well, then here’s the MSI Trident 3 VR7RD-048US Arctic Limited Edition Gaming PC for you. Based on the award winning Trident 3 introduced earlier this year, Arctic Limited Edition, as the product name implies, is the Trident 3 you have known dressed in icy white hue. Ermmm. Think that’s about it. It is really purely cosmetics.

Beyond that, you can expect the usual like a quiet cooling solution (as low as 18dB!) and RGB Mystic Light, controllable via Mystic Light app or MSI Gaming Center software. You will can also expect specs like 7th-generation Intel Core i7-7700 3.6GHz processor, MSI GeForce GTX 1070 GPU with 8GB GDDR5 VRAM, 16GB RAM (supports to 32GB), 256GB M2 SSD paired to a 1TB 7,200RPM HDD for storage – all fueled by a 330W power supply adapter.

As for input/output, you can expect the usual like headphone and microphone jacks, USB 3.1 Gen-1 Type-C ports, USB 3.1 Gen-1 Type-A ports, VR-Link (by the way of a HDMI out), Line-in, Line-out, RJ45 Ethernet port, and HDMI out – all pack into a console-sized chassis in cool white hue. And the asking price? $1,499.99. The MSI Trident 3 Arctic will be available beginning of April from Newegg, Amazon, Microsoft online store, as well as Fry’s.
