Come July 25, it will be 100th years since the establishment of Nikon, then known as Nippon Kogaku K.K. That’s a freaking century old and naturally, Nikon wants to mark this centennial milestone and what better way then to roll out a bunch of 100th anniversary products? Well, that’s exactly what the Japanese camera maker is doing. Differentiating the commemorative models from the run-of-the-mill models are the 100th anniversary logo and “special finishes and features that give them an even more elegant look and feel,” said Nikon.

The commemorative editions include the company’s two flagship DSLR shooters (D5 and D500; each includes a genuine leather commemorative strap and a serialized metal case), a commemorative edition of the Ultimate NIKKOR lens (NIKKOR 70-200E; comes with a stand and case) from its f2.8 lens collection, a commemorative set of three NIKKOR lenses (NIKKOR Triple F2.8 Zoom Lens Set), plus a commemorative editions of three binoculars (WX 7×50 IF, WX 10×50 IF and 8×30 E II). But hey, it is 100th years and the imaging and optic company isn’t about to stop there.

Along with the aforementioned cameras, Nikon is also rolling out some commemorative goods which include a Crystal Creation Nikon Model I created by Swarovski, a collection of lapel pins spanning the 100 years – complete with a classy frame, a premium Italian leather camera strap, and a 1/2th scale Nikon F camera model – the first flagship model of Nikon.
