You don’t need to be a diving enthusiast or a professional diver to want this. I mean, seriously, just look at this fellow. Who can say no to it? Well, “who” are those who can afford the US$14,300 sticker. But for Omega Seamaster enthusiasts, the price isn’t a surprise.
Anyways… this unique Ploprof draws inspiration from OMEGA’s 1970s classic design.
It’s meticulously crafted from O-MEGASTEEL and features a sun-brushed dial in OMEGA’s signature Summer Blue, complete with a gradient finish that mirrors the watch’s remarkable water resistance. The bezel, constructed from transparent sapphire crystal, is elegantly varnished in blue on the back to reveal a light blue diving scale underneath.
The iconic mono-block case includes the well-known screw-in crown and the characteristic security pusher at 2 o’clock. In this special edition, the pusher boasts a blue ceramic ring, perfectly aligned with the color scheme. OMEGA has also adorned the varnished hands and indexes with a unique light blue Super-LumiNova to maintain thematic consistency.
Flipping the watch over, you’ll find a laser-engraved commemorative Seamaster logo, encircled by finely engraved waves. It features a trident-bearing Poseidon and two seahorses, representing OMEGA’s original design from 1956 and their current emblem. Nestled within this artwork is the OMEGA Co-Axial Master Chronometer caliber 8912. To complete the package, the watch comes with an original-style blue rubber strap.
