On one hand, Oppo is leading the handset industry with innovations like pop-up camera, under display fingerprint scanner, under display camera, insane charging speed and rollable screen display phone. And on the other, it is slowly becoming known for its handset collabs.
The Oppo Find X2 League of Legends S10 is the latest collab handset following the delightful Evangelion collab. And boy, is it a sight to behold – both the handset and the exquisite packaging.
For the Oppo Find X2 League of Legends S10 Limited Edition handset the brand’s flagship device has been given LOL’s touches, including a striking LOL-themed back cover in turquoise, featuring a sword pierced through a fog and adorned with Summoner’s Cup emblem in gold.
Gold can also be found framing the entire device, including the camera bump, as well as in graphics on the back cover. The highlights on the shadowy fog changes depending on the angle you view it which is super cool. And then, there’s of course a full-on League of Legends-themed UI on the software aspect.
Even more impressive was the packaging and the accessories that came with it. The latter are all Summoner’s Cup-themed while the former is presented in Hextech Mystery Chest. The packaging isn’t just a box with graphics printed on it. It actually has elevation and relief. In other words, it is 3D.
If that’s not enough, the unboxing experience is unrivaled too. As the flaps of the Hextech chest are opened, the phone raises from the box like a crystal emerging. Absolutely gorgeous.
The rest of specifications are no different from the standard Find X2 Pro. This means, Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 SoC, a 120 Hz 6.7-inch QHD+ OLED display, 4,200 mAh batter, and SuperVOOC 2.0 charger.
The Oppo Find X2 League of Legends S10, it is offered with 8 GB RAM and 256 GB storage. The device was launched in China in October, limited to 3,000 units worldwide, priced at 4,999 yuan (about US$764).
