If you like Great Ball Contraption, that collaborative LEGO-style setup where tiny balls roll endlessly around as if they have a purpose in life, but think it could use a little more flair, Pantasy has you covered. Meet the Pantasy Western Mine (85025), a GBC inspired by the legendary gold rush that helped forge the Wild West. It is another themed kinetic wonder that carries the same cool vibe as the steampunk-themed GBC we saw last year.

Packing a whopping 3,000 elements, this set lets you live out your fantasy of running a gold mine without the moral baggage of actual mining. It is a hybrid brick-and-Technic set that comes alive with light and sound effects, and a heap of mechanical details, including a crank-operated cabin, water tower, workshop, rest area, mining carts, and a manually operated lift system to haul buckets up and down the mineshaft.
Once built, the setup runs through four stages: raw material pickup, conveyor climb, gravity-powered rail descent, and finally, a satisfying return to the start. The balls, finished in shiny gold, represent your “mined treasure,” and the set even includes three Pantasy minifigures: a worker, a security chief, and a boss who looks like he’s taking all the credit.
The magic comes from Pantasy’s BrickAlive System, featuring a Type-C power module with a switch and motor, turning this into a powered kinetic sculpture you can watch for hours. When completed, it measures 40 cm wide, 32 cm deep, and 46.4 cm tall (15.7 x 12.6 x 18.3 inches).
The Pantasy Western Mine (85025) is available now from Pantasy’s webstore for US$149.99.
