This is an exciting time for LEGO enthusiasts who are super fans of Power Rangers. LEGO Ideas member TrumanBricks’ submission of a LEGO version of the Megazord has not only garnered 10,000 supporters, but it has also been green-lit by LEGO. Though we would have preferred Moko Brick Laboratory’s “masterpiece,” this will do—especially for fans seeking official nods. Besides, this set is history in the making. It will be the first-ever officially licensed LEGO Power Rangers set.

Inspired by the ’90s series Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, TrumanBricks’ proposed 1,225-piece set is not just a build-and-display model. It is a playable set that features a Dino Megazord model, formed by five individual robot dinosaurs: Mastodon, Pterodactyl, Triceratops, Saber-Tooth Tiger, and Tyrannosaurus. Each Zord is based on its appearance in the original TV series and comes complete with posable limbs. When combined, the Dino Megazord boasts multiple movable joints and wields a Power Sword and a Mastodon Shield.
Rounding up TrumanBricks’ proposed set are five original Power Rangers minifigures, which should make this set even more collectible. In its combined form, the giant robot towers at an impressive 14 inches (about 35.6 cm) tall and tips the scales at a hefty 782g.
The LEGO Ideas Dino Megazord is not alone. It was revealed alongside four other sets, making this the biggest LEGO Ideas review announcement. Also green-lit are the 2,894-piece La Catrina by yop1172—a beautiful tribute to the Day of the Dead in Mexican culture—Smurf Village by The Half Blood Baron (which pretty much sells itself, really), a gastronomical set featuring a brick-built Ramen model by Micdud, and finally, yet pop culture icon has been officially immortalized in plastic bricks: E.T. The Extra-Terrestrial by Lafabrick.
Unfortunately, E.T. Phone Home from way back in 2020 did not make it, but Lafabrick did this iconic extra-terrestrial proud by creating the first-ever officially licensed brick-built E.T. set. Lafabrick’s take on the most famous E.T. is at one-third scale and packs no fewer than 2,990 elements. When complete, this 12-inch (30.7 cm) model will have posable arms, hands, fingers, feet, head, and even lips. It also features an extendable neck and a light brick that lets the chest glow just like in the movie.
