What you see here is NOT a gunpla. Yes. It is most definitely a Gundam, but it is not a plastic model kit. It is made entirely out paper. I guess you could say it is an origami Gundam, except it took more than just folds to achieve this.
Also, according to its builder, Redditor u/Ghakazian, he had to use some toothpicks at some joints to ensure they hold up. Other than that, yeah, it is a paper Gundam, alright. And the original one that started it all. We heard, the next one coming from this paper artist would be an Evangelion. Oh wow. We can’t wait to see it!
