Pizza Hut China is back with another Evangelion collab—yes, again. This second wave comes just a year after the first, and it’s bringing the Entry Plug interior to your desk without the need to sell a kidney.
Highlights include an upgraded Asuka cockpit with a lift-up hatch and glowing base for that battlefield-ready vibe, plus a detachable Asuka figure for display flexibility. There’s also a soft-glow Asuka ambient light that doubles as a shrine to her beauty, complete with a card slot for changing backdrops.
If you’re more into Rei and Unit-00, they’ve been faithfully recreated with sharp detailing and a one-button switch to enter battle mode. Meanwhile, Unit-01 fans get a bonus: a mini AT Field message board complete with Lancelot pen and UV base light to keep your secrets safe—just maybe don’t use it for your tax notes. In addition, there are random character lenticular buttons and random lenticular cards with a table stand up for grabs.
The aforementioned Asuka cockpit, ambient light, Rei and Unit-00, and Unit-01 with mini AT Field message board go for 129 yuan each (~18 USD), while the buttons are 42 yuan each (~6 USD), and the cards go for 99 yuan each (~14 USD). For 229 yuan (~31 USD), you can pick 2 of the four main merchs, or just drop 456 yuan (~63 USD) for all four. The quantity for each is limited.
The Pizza Hut China x Evangelion Merch Second Wave is set to launch on April 28, 2025, in China, but fans can already reserve them today, on April 25, 2025.
