Among the sea of third-party accessories for PlayStation 4, we almost forgot that Sony also makes original accessories for its console too. The PlayStation DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment is one of the latest.
The product is pretty self-explanatory, but if you really must know, it adds two programmable buttons to the back of your DualShock 4 controller.
The buttons let you map up to 16 different actions and interestingly, it comes with an integrated OLED display to let you keep tap of the customized setup. You will be able to store up to three different profiles which can be quickly select by click the OLED screen which is also a giant button.
Finally, the attachment also features a headset pass-through for connecting any 3.5 mm wired headset to the controller if you so desire. PlayStation DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment will work with all PlayStation 4 and PlayStation VR titles, and it attaches to the controller seamlessly, adhering to the controller’s ergonomics.
PlayStation DualShock 4 Back Button Attachment is expect to hit the market on February 14, 2020, priced at €29.99 a pop (about $33).
