when was the last time you visit your local photoshop to get your photos printed? probably never. since the digital revolution began and the availability of (near) dirt cheap photo printers, visiting photoshop has become more a hassle than anything else. well, if hooking up your camera for a print right at your home also proves be a nuisance, then the Polaroid Z2300 Instant Digital Camera is what you really need. it does what most regular digital cameras do like capturing digital stills and HD video recording but with the added bonus of instant print. yes, like the earlier Z340, it has a color printer built into it. essentially, you are seeing the 21st century take of the old Polaroid, minus the bulk and with the soft copy yours to keep. pretty awesome, huh?
other features include a 10.0-megapixel sensor, a 3.0-inch color LCD, SD card slot for storage (expandable up to 32GB), built-in speaker and microphone, and rechargeable lithium-ion battery. the Z2300 prints 2×3″ full color prints with option to print in black and white and “fun shades of the Polaroid logo colors.” prints are made on ZINK photo papers that are smudge-proof, water- and tear-resistant. additionally, users can view and crop images right on the camera prior to printing, choose to include date and file number on the prints, and add border to spruce up their photos. well, what can i say? the ability to print gives instant gratification a whole new meaning. it would be a perfect fun camera if it had WiFi built-in but until then, this is as close to perfection as you could get.
