Ubisoft‘s Prince of Persia, specifically Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time from 2003 is getting a remake, simply called Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake. TBH, the only thing I remember about the game is, wall run. The game is the company’s first full-scale remake.
In other words, it is not simply a remaster. Through the official trailer, which you can find embedded below, it is clear that it is essentially the original Sands of Time with updated graphics demanded by modern folks’ eyes.
Not that it has no other improvements. It has quite a bit of them, including new enemy character models, new cinematic sequences with enhanced voices, sounds, parkour animations, and soundtrack, and updated camera, controls and combat.
This game will be a nostalgic treat to fans of the game because, it includes the ability to unlock the original ’92 Mac version of the Prince of Persia game, which will be accessible from the Main Menu whenever you desire.
The Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time Remake video game is set to release on Xbox, One, PlayStation 4, and PC on January 21, 2021.
