G-Shock DWE-5600CC will be joining the 5600 series family with the familiar square shape design and it will come with three types of replaceable bands and two bezels.

Technically, all G-Shock watches have interchangeable band, but this one is officially an interchangeable band watch with a newly-developed slide lever for quick detachment of the band.

To facilitate the swappable bezel, it now has four small hooks made from carbon fiber for securing to the watch as opposed to the usual screws.

It is also worthy to mention that the G-Shock DWE-5600CC is the first 5600 series model to feature Carbon Core Guard structure with a carbon fiber-reinforced case for shock resistance.

The camouflage look found on the green resin bezel and band is actually circuit board print of the actual circuit board design used in the base model 5600 series watch. That is something geeks will be able to appreciate.

The alternate bezel and band is in matte black resin with the numerals “3229” imprinted. “3229” the module designation of the 5600 series. That’s another detail for geeks to appreciate.

And then there is a fabric band with a luminescent and reflective finish and with circuit board design imprinted on it in black and white.

Finally, there’s an Easter egg of sort when you remove the bezel. Underneath is the familiar “SHOCK RESIST” branding on the inside of the case. Perhaps, an assurance that this is still tough like any G-Shock? Perhaps.
