If there’s one thing kids love most, it’s ride-on toys. No child can resist the allure of a tiny vehicle with tiny wheels that they propel using their legs. One brilliant mind—Henry’s Toy Box—figured that since kids love riding around, why not make playtime productive? Thus, the idea of a ride-on toy with a mopping function was born. Enter the KIDSCLEANCAR.

As a bonus, Henry’s Toy Box eliminated the need for manual power. So, yeah, the KIDSCLEANCAR is a self-propelled ride-on toy. This 12V portable electric indoor “go-kart” is designed for children and features adjustable speed settings, a rechargeable battery, and—its star feature—a removable mop head for cleaning while junior cruises around the house.
It has a built-in parental speed control—because, you know, just in case you have a speed demon on hand. And in case you’re wondering, it can get pretty fast—up to 5 mph (8 km/h). OK, that may not sound like much, but when you’re zipping through narrow spaces between the kitchen island and the counter, it probably feels like 80 km/h. At top speed, it’s roughly equivalent to a fast walk or a slow jog.
Onboard, your kid gets all the essentials: an upright steering wheel, on/off and speed controls, and an accelerator pedal. When not in use, the unit is easy to move around, thanks to a hidden retractable handle that lets you tow it like a suitcase. There’s no mention of the battery capacity (or did we miss this piece of information?) but it is good for 1-2 hours of use on a single charge which should be more than enough for cleaning a small home, no wait, I mean enough for some good speed-infused fun.

Designed for a single rider aged two years or older, the KIDSCLEANCAR can support up to 160 pounds (73 kg). Other details include a continuously variable transmission system, precision steering wheel, 5-speed control, PU rubber wheels for a quiet ride across most flat surfaces, LED lights built into the handle that serve as driving lights, and for some reasons, a 6L storage space under the seat.
The KIDSCLEANCAR launched in 2023. We’re not sure if it was the first of its kind, but a quick check on Amazon today reveals that there are a bunch of them from different brands. If you want one, you can grab it on Amazon.com for US$179.99. Prime Members can score one for just US$149.98 (a 17% discount).
