Tackling the undulating terrains on an off-road bicycle is an exhilarating sport limited only by your physical fitness (read: leg power). With the new Rad Power Bikes RadRhino 6 Plus, however, the enjoyment becomes a lot less taxing on your legs.
Thanks to the 250 W geared hub motor that offers an intelligent 5-level pedal assist with 12 magnet cadence sensor and up to a top speed of 25 km/h (16 mph), you can pretty much own the beaten trails.
The motor is paired to a proprietary semi-integrated battery packing 672 Wh, which can be removed with a turn of a key, providing anything from 40 to over 72 kilometers (25-45+ miles) of range on a single charge.
Other notables include all-new hydraulic disc brakes with ceramic brake pads, ergonomically designed lever that can be adjusted to fit the rider’s hand, a re-engineered frame and a custom two-part display system that displays real-time stats, trip distance, time and more, keeping you inform of your ride status.
The Rad Power Bikes RadRhino 6 Plus is available in two frame sizes, namely, high-step and step-thru, and will be available this Fall in Europe for €1,899 (around US$2,250). Strangely, though, it is not available in stateside as with the other RadRhino model.
