Pikachu gets plenty of merchandise. This time, Razer is giving three other Pokémon a turn on your head. Charizard, Lucario, and Sylveon join its gaming headset lineup as part of Pokémon’s 30th-anniversary celebrations, and the choice goes beyond picking your favorite character.

Charizard and Lucario each get a BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed edition. Both feature second-generation TriForce 50 mm drivers and low-latency HyperSpeed Wireless. The Charizard model’s product page also lists Bluetooth, wired USB-C connectivity, a detachable HyperClear cardioid microphone, and up to 70 hours of battery life over 2.4 GHz. At 270 grams (9.5 ounces), it shouldn’t require a Pokémon Trainer’s stamina to wear.
Sylveon takes a different route with the Kraken V4 X. Its soft pink-and-blue design accompanies TriForce 40 mm drivers, a retractable HyperClear cardioid microphone, and Chroma RGB lighting. It’s wired, so battery management is one less thing competing for your attention.
The trio follows Razer’s expanding collection of character-themed hardware. Between these and its recent Sanrio releases, choosing a headset is becoming as much about who you like as what you play.
Last check, only the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed – Charizard Edition is available to buy, priced at US$119.99. Prices and availability for the Razer BlackShark V3 X HyperSpeed – Lucario Edition and the Razer Kraken V4 X – Sylveon Edition remain unclear.
