From current NBA stars to a living NBA legend, and from PepsiCo’s Cheetos to just PepsiCo Pepsi is another pair of collab sneakers that I never thought I would see. But here it is, the massive Reebok PEPSI ‘SNEAK’ER in Shaq’s Size 22s. That’s right, my friends, this is a pair of multi-collab basketball shoes involving retired basketball superstar Shaquille O’Neal.
This collab is a nod to the man’s love for, ermmm, Pepsi Minis? With a pair of kicks from Reebok (a pair of Shaq Attaqs) custom-built by the Shoe Surgeon. So it really is a pair of Reebok x Pepsi x Shaq x The Shoe Surgeon basketball shoes.
Shaq’s legendary status continues to grow, this time with a twist that I never imagined would happen – marrying his love for sneakers and Pepsi Minis. Teaming up with Pepsi and Reebok, they’ve introduced the Pepsi ‘SNEAK’ER, a custom-designed pair of Reebok PUMP Shaq Attaqs by the Shoe Surgeon, big enough (size 22!) to stash a Pepsi Mini can in the sole. This pair of kicks literally has a cut-out in the outsole on each shoe for a can of Pepsi Mini. Why? Well, because they can!
This sneaker isn’t just for show; it’s totally wearable, well, if shares the same size as Shaq’s feet which is a ginormous size 22. This pair of sneakers is a walking, talking (well, almost) testament to Shaq’s unique personality, blending his on-court legacy with his off-court passions. Featuring the iconic Pepsi blue and black color scheme and special details like a Pepsi Globe “PUMP” and a leather chamber for the Pepsi Mini, these kicks are a sneakerhead’s dream and a soda lover’s paradise.
Sounds good and you’d wish for a pair? Well, let’s just keep it that way and stop at “wish” because you can’t have it. Twenty-two pairs of Reebok PEPSI ‘SNEAK’ER in Shaq’s Size 22s were available exclusively through a Pepsi Sweepstakes which ran from February 20 to 25. So, yeah, they are all gone.
