Rubik’s Cube x Spin Master Perplexus Puzzles

So you think the Rubik’s Cube is not a challenge to you anymore? Well, the good news for you challenge-hungry people out there, there’s going to be a new kind of Rubik’s Cube coming your way.

Canadian toy company, Spin Master, last month inked a new deal with The Smiley Company (master licensee for Rubik’s) to launch Perplexus Puzzles with a twist. Like, quite literally a twist, or maybe several twists.

Rubik’s Cube x Spin Master Perplexus Puzzles

Rubik’s Cube x Spin Master Perplexus range will see the two companies developing a Rubik’s Cube infused with the world’s famous 3-D ball-in-a-maze puzzle.

“By twisting and turning the cube, players attempt to maneuver a small steel ball through an intricate maze composed of a number of steps along narrow plastic tracks. The result creates the ultimate Rubik’s Cube puzzle and maze, adding in another level of fun and making the Cube even more challenging than ever before.”

Me hearing this news: look at the half-done Rubik’s Cube on the desk and concludes this: not going to do it. As if the Rubik’s Cube itself weren’t hard enough for a slow person like me. But for everyone else who are brighter than myself, look forward to the arrival of the Rubik’s Cube x Spin Master Perplexus Puzzles this Summer.
