Remember Samsung Galaxy XCover, the ruggedized Galaxy smartphone designed with enterprise in mind? Well, it has a new iteration called Samsung Galaxy XCover 5.
Samsung Galaxy XCover 5 has most – if not all – the features you expect of a tough, field device. These includes gloves-friendly touch screen – now with improved touch sensitivity, enhanced shock absorption that can sustain drops from up to 1.5 meters, IP68 rated dust and water resistance, and easy-to-charge and replaceable battery.
It is not best looking rugged device, IMHO, but it is here if your line of work needs a rugged smartphone and your prefer choice is a Samsung Galaxy. Skip ahead a brief rundown of the specifications.
