Forget about the run-of-the-mill Mercedes-Maybach S600. Wait. On a second thought, forget about Rolls-Royce rides too, because if you looking at the ultimate in luxury rides, new kid on the luxury car customisation, Canada-based Scaldarsi Motors, has just the right ride for you: the Emperor I. Based on the souped up Mercedes-Maybach by renowned tuner, Brabus, the Maybach Rocket 900, this luxury sedan has the lavish elements to live up to its model name. In fact, it could be a fitting ride for the Emperor of the feudal era. For starter, it looks like no Maybach on Earth – thanks to its to the wide-body aero that bumped up the width substantially and a completely redesigned grilled, ornamented with Scaldarsi Emblem that makes the ride fit for royalties.
The sporty-crossed-royalty look is consummated by massive, intricately designed forged wheels that fills the now very pronounced flared wheel arches. The look is breathtaking, only to be outshone by 24-karat gold treatment on select elements that adorned the vehicle exterior. Yes. It is opulence at its best, so much so that you will probably need a security detail or two guarding the car when it is parked in public areas because it is going to draw a ton of attention to itself. The same goes for the interior which offers a myriad of very lavish customisation options like 24 exotic animal leather and colors, and no less than 78 types of wood veneer.
But this luxe of luxe sedans is not just about extravagance; it has the power to match too and in this instance, its plumped 6.2L twin-turbocharged V12 engine offers 888 horses on the tap, which takes just 3.7 seconds to get it from standstill to 100 km/h (62 mph) – a performance that will come in handy if someone’s after you for your money.
Exclusivity is the name of the game and exclusive it certainly is, as only 10 exquisite examples will be offered, and each at a mind-boggling starting price of $1.5 million. However, if a Maybach is not your golden cuppa, you’d be glad to know that the Emperor I is just the first of the five crazy exuberant rides the Canadian outfit will be offering, so do look out for the rest.
