smog and congestion – everyday occurrence in our urban jungle that make us wants to quit driving altogether. well… almost but wouldn’t it be nice if we can beat the congestion and at the same time, cut the smog out of our personal transportation equation and still not forego style and performance? and that’s what the new smart BRABUS Electric Drive is all about. it embodies the dynamism and sportiness that smart BRABUS is known for but with an approach that would certainly have tree-huggers nodding in approval. fitted with a 60kW electric motor that delivers 135Nm of torque, the smart BRABUS electric drive has the sporty look (ooh la la!), the agility and the performance to meet today’s urban mobility needs. aesthetically eye-catching, it features a dominantly black body, accented with electric green on its tridion safety cell and door mirror caps. touches of the electric green continues into the dark colored interior that features BRABUS sports steering wheel with steering wheel gearshift, handbrake handle, dashboard instruments, stainless steel sports pedals, leather-look door trim and leather seats. other features include BRABUS sports suspension that lowers this sporty bundle by about 10mm, dark BRABUS headlamps, BRABUS “Monoblock VII” alloy wheels (16-inch front, 17-inch rear) and last but not least, the gorgeous BRABUS Xclusive aerodynamic body kit. the smart BRABUS electric drive will make its world premier, along with the smart BRABUS ebike, at the Geneva Motor Show next week. the smart BRABUS electric drive will hit smart centers in twelve countries starting end of 2012. join us after the break for more (larger) images of this beautiful machine.
