To this, the Japanese electronic maker has bring about imaging prowess of the company’s RX series to the world of action cameras. Designated DSC-RX0, this tiny imaging device promised to deliver high-quality imaging in a compact and tough construction that is waterproof, shockproof and crush-proof.
Notables features of this tiny super action cam include 1.0-Type stacked 15.3 MP Exmor RS CMOS image sensor, BIONZ X image processor, ZEISS TessarT 24 mm F4 Fixed wide-angle lens with anti-distortion shutter speed of up to 1/32000 second and ability to shoot at up to 16fps, a range of creative video functionality including 40x Super Slow motion recording, Picture Profile (S-Log2), and 4K Clean HDMI Output, and multi-camera control for multi-view shooting either wirelessly or with wired connection. All the above are packed inside a go anywhere package measuring a super tiny 59 mm x 40.5 mm x 29.8 mm and weighs no more than 110g. But not surprisingly, all these does come with a princely sum of $699.99.
