The device is expected to be available stateside and up North through Sony’s professional channels starting next month (May) for an MSRP of US$5,000. Also, it needs special content to take advantage of anyways. This 27-inch display offers highly realistic, three-dimensional content without the need for special glasses or VR headsets. So, yeah, 3D without glasses is what this display offers.

Key features of this new spatial reality display include an upgraded high-speed vision sensor, image quality enhancing technologies, and installation flexibility. This eye-wear/headset-free 3D display is perfect for businesses that are looking for a virtual 3D display solution. Imagine displaying super expensive jewelry without the risk of it being robbed. That’s an idea. It is also good for medical and perfect for product designs too.
