Who’s down to getting another piece of merchandise from one of Elon Musk’s companies? If you are, SpaceX has something really cool, well, maybe hot, for you. Folks, meet the SpaceX Starship Torch. Yes. Torch. For the British English educated, that’s not a flashlight that we are talking about; it is a torch that breathes fire.
The windproof flame that the SpaceX Starship Torch produces is far from the hotness of the flame spew out by SpaceX’s rocket but hot enough to make easy work of searing steak or meringue, or to caramelize the sugar on a crème brûlée. You get the idea.
But it is not only for whipping up gourmet. This little guy will come in handy when you need to light up candles or a fireplace. You may want to know that the flame is adjustable. Though by what extent is unknown.
And when not used, it makes for a good display since it is, after all, a 1:200 scale model of SpaceX’s Starship spacecraft. Not to worry about accidentally launching this guy into space, I mean, triggering the flame because there is a safety lock to prevent that from happening.
The SpaceX Starship Torch is refillable with standard butane canisters which are not included for obvious reasons. It is really a cool collectible with practical use other than looking pretty. Perfect for any SpaceX fans or space nuts. On SpaceX’s store, it is described as “100% not a toy” but it sure is “100% collectible”.
